#DadChat hosted by Bruce Sallan

LeanOnUs attended #DadChat on Twitter tonight for the very first time!  #DadChat is hosted by Bruce Sallan who has been kindly sharing his columns with us here on the site.  Tonight the chat was centered around his article 'Music is God's Drug' which is one of the articles that you will see in the navigation on the left.

Every Thursday evening Bruce covers a different subject and introduces us to a new co-host. You can search Twitter for the latest tweets about #DadChat by typing #DadChat into the search box. It will then bring up all the latest tweets from everyone who mentions it. So if you want to make a comment/join in the conversation just add #DadChat to the end of your tweet! It does seem complicated at first but really it's not that bad!

Tonight was the first time that I had ever attended an ongoing discussion like this and it was really interesting.  It lasts approximately one hour and is held every Thursday evening from 6-7pm  (Pacific Time).   If you don't  have a Twitter account you can view the discussion below,  in
the TweetGrid feed, as it happens live! You can also follow tweets about #DadChat throughout the week when someone mentions it, as it runs 24/7.

If you would like to keep up-to-date with what's going on you can check out the Facebook updates on the right or go follow Bruce on Twitter by clicking the follow button below!

I used TweetGrid (see below) to join in and it was fairly easy to set up but as with anything it can take some getting used to and a lot of messing around so I have included some VERY basic instructions to get you going.  As you get used to using it you can change the settings to suit but I hope this helps to get you started. If you have any questions please let us know and we will try and help you out.

(For more about the kind of thing that goes on #DadChat check out my very first blog post 'Echoes'  and my latest  #DadChat post 'A Year at #DadChat'.)
