How LeanOnUs Processes Data

All personal and non-personal data held by LeanOnUs is the sole responsibility of Sonya Palasiuk as Data Controller.

 

Personal experiences (member stories) and any notes or conversations, working agreements and any other documents provided to LeanOnUs may be stored/attached to the original email from the person who provided the submission to LeanOnUs using secure webmail servers such as provided by GoDaddy.

 

Personal experiences (member stories) and any notes or conversations, working agreements and any other documents provided to LeanOnUs may also be stored on secure servers provided by Dropbox or Google Drive.

 

Names and email addresses may be stored using secure webmail servers such as provided by GoDaddy.

 

Names, email addresses and IP addresses may be stored on secure servers provided by Wix for use with email newsletters or contact forms used on the website.

 

Working agreements and any other documents provided to LeanOnUs may be stored on secure servers provided by Dropbox or Google Drive.

Below we briefly explain more about the type of information we hold, how we obtain it, why we store it, how we store it, what we do with it, your data protection rights and how to complain.

We currently collect and process the following information:

  • Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (ie name, email address, telephone number etc)

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • If you make an enquiry and ask us for a response via email, voice call, text messaging etc.

  • You ask to be notified via email or any other means of any updates about LeanOnUs.

 

 

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful basis we rely on for processing your information is: 

  • Your consent - You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by emailing us at us@leanonus.co.

We use the information you have given us in order to:

 

  • Respond to an enquiry you have made.

  • To send you any relevant updates (ie newsletters).

 

 

Your information is stored on secure servers as mentioned in the first section of this page. We keep this information until such time as it is no longer required. We will then dispose of your information by erasing it from all relevant areas of our website and/or servers.

 

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

  • Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

  • Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

  • Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

  • Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances.

  • Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

  • Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. Please send an email to us@leanonus.co if you wish to make a request.

 

You can also complain to the ICO if you are unhappy with how we have used your data. You can contact the ICO by calling their helpline on 03031231113 or writing to them at Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.
